Sustainability

Our sustainability practices, also known as environmental, social, and governance efforts, are embedded into our everyday activities. We strive towards creating an inclusive, greener environment for our colleagues, neighbourhood and community. This creates a culture of collective responsibility throughout all levels of London Designer Outlet.

Here’s an update on our current ESG initiatives.

  • In a year to date, we’ve recycled 301 tonnes of cardboard and 94 tonnes of glass!
  • Our internal operational systems are 100% paperless
  • Freecycle group is established for reuse of fixtures/fittings

Community We’re proud to be located in the heart of Wembley Park, a vibrant space where entertainment and responsibility go hand-in-hand. At LDO we’re all about the community that makes us so special.

We offer multi-purpose retail and performance spaces for our local community to utilise, including our Cart Collective initiative for local, independent businesses who don’t have a physical store.

Supporting local charities and groups is just one of the ways we can help to raise awareness for underrepresented communities.

Solace

One of our charity and training partners is Solace Women’s Aid, a London based women’s refuge. Offering support, accommodation, and therapeutic services, Solace do vital work to help women live safer lives.

Look out for our collaborative events and initiatives taking shape throughout 2025!

We work alongside our brand partners to understand their environmental initiatives and challenges.

Together we promote sustainable practices including store fit-out programmes, services such as click & collect, repair and recycle, and educating store teams to meet our zero-waste to landfill goals.

Wenzels

We recognise that attracting, developing and retaining talent contributes to our collective success. Positive employment conditions and employee satisfaction are key in promoting a safe and healthy workplace.

All our employees are entitled to equal opportunities and protection against any and all forms of discrimination. We also encourage a working environment that is flexible.

Hydration shouldn’t cost the Earth, so you can find our refillable water station at Guest Services!

For a more environmentally friendly way of travelling, we’re accessible by those on foot, bicycle, and public transport.

Everything at LDO is accessible by lift as well as an escalator.

A flat rate event parking tariff will be in effect on 4th - 7th November in The Red Car Park. Guests spending £40+ at LDO can park for the standard tariff by validating the ticket at the Red Car Park Office before exit. Parking spaces are limited.
